Jörg Klein aka Jørg’ is a musician and music teacher from Germany and Train To Drammen is his latest EP, released on 17/02/2023.

An instrumental, the EP is seventeen minutes and fourteen seconds of guitar brilliance and flair and shows just how talented this man really is.

With its roots firmly in the classic rock genre, there is just the right amount of blues thrown in to give the EP a swagger that is not overpowering and taking attention away from the talent that is on show here.

This EP really does blur the lines between soft rock, classic rock and AOR and everything in between. There really is plenty to listen to in this EP. The multi-layered guitars, the soothing basslines and the easy-going drum work all combine to give the listener a real treat. The accompanying musicianship is spot on and fits in with the guitar work perfectly.

The EP changes pace a few times during its course, speeding up with more intricate guitar work and then slowing down with some more chilled out passages before resuming the standard pace of the EP.

With elements of prog rock thrown into the mix, there is always something to listen to with this EP, keeping the listener engaged at all times but the sheer hypnotic tone and feel of  the guitar work will certainly keep you mesmerised for the entire length of the EP.
