Harker are a “rapid blitz of punk rock” from Brighton, UK and Out The Window is their latest single, released on 12/05/2023.
The four-piece play a blend of rock styles that not only blurs the lines between genres, but it also totally obliterates them.
Heavy, driving guitar riffs are at the base of the track, and combined with the energetic drumming and solid, funky basslines, this band really do create a sound that is unique to them.
Blending the energy of punk rock, with the distortion of grunge and the riffs of classic and alternative rock, this is a great upbeat track that should have the listener jumping round the living room.
The singer’s voice is awesome, a great match for the style of music that the band are playing, and there is a slight grittiness to his voice that really puts them firmly in whatever rock genre they want to be!
This really is a great track and one that I think will appeal to a wide range of listeners. I only have one gripe with it, and that is that it just wasn’t long enough. As soon I was getting into the track, it ended…. but that did mean I listened to it many times on repeat, and not once did I get bored with it, which to me, proves just how good a song it is!
Check out Harker! If this track is anything to go by, I’m looking forward to much more from these guys!
