Faith In Failure – Lost (Down In The Darkness)

Ukraine’s atmospheric black metal band, Labyrinthus Stellarum, unleashes their latest single, ‘Cosmic Plague’.
Cosmic Plague is one of the heaviest and darkest tracks of Labyrinthus Stellarum. It tells the story of a catastrophic invasion by a race of ruthless parasites that are destroying life on entire planets. These creatures, born in the depths of the Void, were imprisoned there for eons, but after the rift between the worlds was opened, they broke free. Led by their Queen, they bring destruction to all living things, leaving behind only ruins and death.
Cosmic Plague is the third single from the upcoming album Rift in Reality, which will be released in the spring of 2025. The new album will be even more experimental and diverse than the previous one, and will combine atmospheric, melodic compositions and hard, aggressive tracks, creating a unique journey through the darkness of space. The album cover was drawn by Mark Cooper, known for working with bands such as Rings of Saturn and Brand of Sacrifice.
Labyrinthus Stellarum is a cosmic black metal band from Odesa, founded in 2021 by vocalist and songwriter Oleksandr Andronati and guitarist Oleksandr Kostetskyi. Later, they were joined by a second guitarist, Oleksandr Andronati’s brother, Misha. In 2023, they released their debut album Tales of the Void, which gained recognition for its blend of atmospheric black metal with elements of electronic music and cosmic-themed lyrics. Shortly after the album’s release, Oleksandr Kostetskyi left the band, and since then, Labyrinthus Stellarum has continued as a duo of the two brothers.
Their second album, Vortex of the Worlds, was released on April 6, 2024, solidifying Labyrinthus Stellarum’s place in the cosmic black metal scene alongside bands like Darkspace, Mesarthim, and Vorga. Despite their short existence, the band has performed with iconic Ukrainian black metal acts such as White Ward, and Colotyphus.

| Hollywood, CA (February 14, 2025) — Madfish Music announces the digital release of Bonus Tracks & B-Sides from the W.A.S.P. The 7 Savage boxset. Purchase or stream the digital release of Bonus Tracks & B-Sides – https://orcd.co/wasp_bonus_listen W.A.S.P. has always been a band that embraced the raw power of heavy metal while pushing the boundaries of its creative vision. Bonus Tracks & B-Sides, the final disc in The 7 Savage box set, is a treasure trove for die-hard fans, offering a glimpse into the unpolished, experimental, and daring side of W.A.S.P. This collection compiles rare tracks, dynamic covers, and deep cuts that showcase the band’s versatility and passion for their craft. Kicking off with the incendiary “Animal (F**k Like A Beast),” the disc immediately reminds us why W.A.S.P. carved their name into the annals of rock history. This controversial anthem, unapologetically provocative, set the tone for the band’s rebellious spirit. Among the gems, “Paint It Black” and “Mississippi Queen” highlight the band’s knack for reinterpreting classics with a ferocious metal edge, paying homage to their influences while making the tracks undeniably their own. Similarly, their take on Jethro Tull’s “Locomotive Breath” and Led Zeppelin’s “When The Levee Breaks” demonstrates their ability to merge technical mastery with unrelenting energy. Original tracks like “Savage” and “Flesh and Fire” ooze with the raw, theatrical intensity that defines W.A.S.P.’s signature sound, while “D.B. Blues” offers a playful departure into an unexpected, almost tongue-in-cheek territory. The haunting “Phantoms In The Mirror” and the reflective “The Eulogy” offer a darker, more introspective tone, contrasting beautifully with the thunderous “War Cry.” And then there’s “The Story Of Jonathan (Prologue To The Crimson Idol),” a sprawling 16-minute opus that provides a deeper dive into the conceptual world of The Crimson Idol, revealing the depth of Blackie Lawless’s storytelling ambition. Bonus Tracks & B-Sides isn’t just a collection of outtakes—it’s a celebration of the chaos, creativity, and charisma that made W.A.S.P. one of the most electrifying bands in rock history. Crank it up and let the beast roar one more time. BraveWords, Sleaze Roxx, Metal Insider and The Metal Voice all picked the Album ONE Alive tour as one of the best tours in 2024. W.A.S.P. are bringing the Album ONE Alive tour to South America, Europe and the UK in 2025. Dates and tickets are available at WASPnation.com/tour |

Few Bands in the history of Rock N’ Roll have ever incited the love, the hate, the raw emotional effect this Band has had on the world. From the very beginning, in the small venues of Los Angeles California, and later to the numerous countries worldwide that banned these Winged Assassins from performing live, the Band’s unique style of Shock and Rock caused Religious organizations, Local City Councils, Parliaments, and the Washington D.C. Senate to hold hearings in an effort to bar this group from selling records and trashing stages everywhere they played. The band’s founding member, frontman Blackie Lawless, has led the group as its lead vocalist and primary songwriter since its beginning. His unique brand of visual, social and political comment took the group to worldwide heights and sold millions of records alongside a legacy of sold out shows across the globe for 4 decades. |

The Dead Daisies release their latest single “Love That’ll Never Be” today. The song came together while the band was working on songs for what became their latest album “Light ‘Em Up”. John and Marti Frederiksen had started working on the track with a future Corabi solo record in mind but decided to throw it into the mix for the band to consider. Everyone really liked it and after a few elements were trimmed off and Doug toughened up some of the guitar parts, they all really loved how it came out!!
“Love That’ll Never Be” is a bluesy 70’s Rock ballad reminiscent of The Allman Brothers about a girl who thought the grass was greener until she realises that what she wanted….she already had!!! Now, it’s too late to get it back…” – John Corabi
It’s a timely reminder to be happy with what you have and to love the one you’re with!!

Lenax vocalist/guitarist, Venomous, had this to say about the new EP:
“The Hellscape project was spawned entirely by accident. Our drummer Bones sent in an audition video when we were first getting together, something that sounded very dirty and ethereal. As he was in a doom project, I assumed it was original material, until I heard the main riff from ‘Leeches.’ This gave me the effect of taking something very familiar to me as a songwritier and making it seem alien, as if distorted through a transmission from the underworld.
I pulled up the core tracks of some of the songs that we’d done – two songs from the upcoming album Infection, and a remaster of one of the songs form the 2023 Purity EP. Every track I did something a little different with the effects and tempo. One song is actually sped up as it was down pitched, something that may seem counterintuitive. The idea was to give this feeling as if the songs were transmitted across a void, resulting in this obscured, horror movie soundtrack kind of effect.
“New song, ‘The Voices,’ was purpose built with this sort of transmission in mind. It takes this idea of hearing diabolic voices from the underworld, and creates an epic story of ascension and destruction. During the demo process, I pitch shifted my voice down for this monstrous effect. What I wasn’t expecting is to find a comfort zone for my voice in this very low register. What you hear on my vocals on is entirely natural, something that in turn made its way to some of the tracks on the new album. Big thanks to Silas for this, not just on coaching me into this low vocal range, but his impeccable work on the audio.”
Lenax is currently putting the finishing touches on the songs that will become Infection, the band’s first full-length album. It is targeted for release during the summer months this year.
In reflecting on the forthcoming full-length, Venomous notes that “Infection is an album almost two years in the making. Continuing with themes that blur the lines between fantasy and reality, Lovecraftian cosmic horror and the occult, the theme of the album is one of infernal rather than divine intervention into humanity. with an unmistakeable passion for individuality.”
“This is our most punishing work yet,” says Lenax guitarist Mordred. “It’s faster, harsher, and more diseased than anything we’ve ever done.” The theme of the album is represented in song titles such as ‘Plague Bringer,’ ‘Hive Mind Apocalypse,’ and ‘We Are Legion’ – a song that tells the story of an unfortunate and overly zealous mage who calls upon greater forces than his own, only to succomb to the very denizens of hell he dared unleash.”

Lenax are a Nashville-based melodic black metal band that first emerged in November 2022 as the brainchild of guitarist and vocalist Venomous. The project evolved from a solo act into a full-fledged band known by a growing fanbase for their distinct blend of aggressive old-school black metal with esoteric and symphonic elements.
Drawing inspiration from a wide array of black metal bands from established titans to the obscure, the “Big Four” of thrash metal, and even a dash of classic heavy acts like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, Lenax’s signature sound pays homage to their influences while establishing them as pioneers of something new altogether dubbed by Venomous as “cosmic horror fueled nightmares.” — an immersive sonic rumination on rebellion against religion, revenge, and self-realization through occult technology, with a distinct nod to Lovecraftian lore and the impending doom of the Outer Gods.
Since releasing their debut EP Purity in October 2023, Lenax has garnered praise from both domestic and international press, with Rock Hard and Metalized featuring the band and The Metalverse lauding their ability to blend melody with black metal’s raw power. Never losing an ounce of momentum, the band’s noses remain firmly on the grindstone as they prepare for a
busy year ahead, with two new songs and accompanying music videos already in the works for 2024, preceding a full-length album slated for a
2025 release.

State of Mind, the Texas-based heavy metal outfit known for its powerful blend of classic metal and raw emotion, has recently released its second EP “Sanity of Madness” on February 7, 2025, via Self-Made Records with distribution from Earache Records. The six-track collection arrives as a testament to the band’s evolution since their formation in 1994, showcasing their signature combination of thunderous anthems and introspective songwriting. They comment on their expectation for the reception of the album:
“We think it will be received well. It’s got a raw human unpolished sound to it that you don’t get anymore. We decided not to put too much polish on it and leave it raw and authentic. We wanted that human, dirty sound. Like the good ole days of hella concerts. It’s like all of our influences came together and showed us the path we needed to take. There are so many storylines in this EP; it’s epic how they all fit together”
“Sanity of Madness” builds on the momentum of their 2022 singles “Shattered” and “Fall Away,” and their self-titled 2019 debut. The new release includes standout tracks like “The Masters Coming”, a groove-heavy odyssey that tells the tale of Renefield’s supernatural struggles, and “Dead”, a hard-driving anthem that captures the universal feeling of modern-day alienation. “Wizard”, inspired by a mystical poster that once adorned their practice space, demonstrates the band’s ability to transform visual art into crushing metal compositions.
State of Mind continues to deliver what they call “New Classic Metal” combining the timeless appeal of traditional heavy metal with contemporary themes and production. The EP weaves together tales of mythical beings, personal demons, and spiritual warfare, all delivered with the intensity that State of Mind fans have come to expect. It is recommended for fans of Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, and Dio.
