LORD OF THE LOST Vocalist CHRIS HARMS Releases 4th Single “Lunamor” + Official Video!

In the past four years, LORD OF THE LOST has experienced the most successful period in the band’s history – and lead singer CHRIS HARMS has shown no signs of taking a creative break. Today, Harms is releasing “Lunamor”, the fourth single from his debut solo album 1980, which is dropping this Friday, February 7.

The song blends dark, hypnotic synthesizers with an evocative melody, once again highlighting Harms’ deep connection to the electronic sounds of the 1980s. Following the previous singles, “Lunamor” takes an even more enigmatic and romantic turn, revealing yet another intriguing facet of the album.

Like all tracks on 1980“Lunamor” reflects Harms’ unique ability to create music driven by pure passion – free from conventions or genre constraints. He crafts a sonic atmosphere deeply rooted in synth-pop, new wave, and goth to frame his infectiously catchy melodies, maintaining a strong potential for radio airplay. With each new track, Harms proves that 1980 is more than just a tribute to a legendary decade – it is also a testament to his artistic versatility, marking a bold and captivating chapter in his musical journey.

CHRIS HARMS about the new single “Lunamor”:
Sometimes it only takes a single word to trigger an entire song. I remember almost exactly a year ago, I was lying alone at night in a deck chair at the stern of the “70,000 Tons Of Metal” cruise ship and was enchanted by the sight of the Caribbean moon. The words “Luna” and “Amor” merged in my mind’s eye to form “Lunamor” and I thought “Wow, what a wonderful title for a song!” – and a few months later it became a whole story with a soundtrack, which now finds a home on my solo album. From the metal cruise to the synthpop album – wonderful!”

LORD OF THE LOST Singer CHRIS HARMS’ First Solo Album – an 80s Synth-Pop Revival!
With LORD OF THE LOST, Chris Harms has recently achieved defining milestones in the band’s history, including participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, touring with Iron Maiden, and securing a #1 and two #2 spots on the Official German Album Charts. But for Harms, taking a break is out of the question. The concept of a solo album has been brewing in his mind for years, and it has now come to fruition with 1980, set for release this January.

CHRIS HARMS describes 1980:
“If I were forced to categorize this album and label it, it would probably say ‘a strange but successful mix of Depeche Mode, Modern Talking and Sandra with Chris Harms’ voice, but with less perm and mullet’”.

Songs such as the first single I Love You” and “Lunamor” exude a pleasant lightness, while “Past Pain” and “May This Be Your Last Battlefield” strike a reflective note. Two selected duets round off the album: Harms welcomes guest singer Sven Friedrich (Solar Fake) on “Madonna Of The Night”, while Ronan Harris (VNV Nation) can be heard on “The Grey Machines”.

1980 deliberately avoids attempting to reinvent the wheel, but is to be understood as a musical journey through time. There is no deliberate calculation or riding the wave of any trends on the album, but simply a passion, desire and love for music, with which CHRIS HARMS has marked a remarkable new pinnacle in his discography as a musician.

1980 tracklist:
1. I Love You
2. She Called Me Diaval
3. Somewhere Between Heaven And Armageddon

Godless – A Force of Relentless Death Metal

Emerging from the heart of India’s thriving yet unorthodox metal scene, Godless has steadily climbed to the pinnacle of the country’s death metal scene. But it’s not their experimental innovations that have set them apart—rather, it’s their unapologetic dedication to pure, high-octane, thrash-infused death metal. With their ferocious energy and no-holds-barred approach, they’ve become a standout force in the global extreme metal landscape.

Formed in mid-2015 in Hyderabad, Godless was founded by a group of seasoned musicians who had already made their mark on the Indian metal scene. Though their name might suggest a nihilistic, uncompromising spirit, it’s the band’s raw and unrelenting sound that truly defines them. From their very inception, Godless has drawn upon the rich heritage of old-school metal while constantly evolving their sound—often delving into thrash, death, and beyond.

The band made their debut with Centuries of Decadence, a blistering four-track EP released in May 2016 through Transcending Obscurity Records. Mixed and mastered by Joe Haley of Psycroptic, the EP was met with widespread acclaim, securing features in Rolling Stone India, Terrorizer, XXL Rock, No Clean Singing, Metal Wani, Brave Words, and Dead Rhetoric. The release quickly cemented Godless as a rising force in the Indian death metal scene.

In 2017, the band had the honor of supporting iconic acts like Psycroptic and Jeff Loomis on their Indian tours, gaining invaluable exposure and growing their fanbase. Fuelled by this momentum, they returned to the studio in early 2018 to record Swarm, a vicious death-thrash EP that featured a guest appearance by former Obscura guitarist Tom “Fountainhead” Geldschlager. The EP was recorded and mixed at Poland’s legendary Hertz Studio, known for its work with giants like Vader, Behemoth, and Decapitated.

In 2018, Godless triumphed in the Metal Battle India competition, earning them a coveted spot to perform at Wacken Open Air—one of the world’s largest metal festivals. This international debut marked the band’s first major milestone on the global stage. Following a packed 2019 that included a successful India tour, a four-week European tour, and a memorable Nepal tour, the band set their sights on even greater achievements.

In November 2021, Godless unleashed their highly anticipated debut LP, States of Chaos. Mixed and mastered once again at Hertz Studio, the album delivers eight ferocious tracks of relentless thrash and death metal. States of Chaos quickly garnered praise from fans and critics alike, landing the band at the top of Bandcamp’s global charts for both thrash (#1) and death metal (#3). The album earned widespread acclaim from outlets such as Unite Asia, Metal Injection, and Invisible Oranges, and was featured by Rolling Stone India as one of the top 10 Indian albums of 2021. States of Chaoswas also nominated for “Album of the Year” by Metal Injection, and recognized by Bandcamp as one of the best metal releases of November 2021.

Now, with a lineup consisting of Abbas Razvi (bass), Nikhil Rajkumar (drums), Moiz Mustafa (guitar), and Nangsan Lyngwa (vocals), Godless is already deep into the creation of their next record. The band has an upcoming India tour in 2025, followed by a return to Europe in April and May for more intense live performances that are sure to continue their ascent.

In a genre where innovation is often as prized as tradition, Godless stands out by staying true to the roots of death metal, while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of their sound. The chaos is only just beginning.

EDGE OF PARADISE Unleash Second Single “Prophecy Unbound” + Official Music Video

Los Angeles based cinematic hard rockers EDGE OF PARADISE return today with the bombastic anthem “Prophecy Unbound” cut from their epic sixth studio album and Napalm Records debut, Prophecy, arriving March 7, 2025.

“Prophecy Unbound” pops off right out of the gate with its pummeling drums, expansive orchestrations, and a tensely epic guitar solo, inviting listeners into frontwoman Margarita Monet’s stirring narrative dystopia. Nu-Metal inspired riff excellence carries the verses through to the cathartic high octane chorus that Monet delivers with soaring power. Forever enthralled with the convergence of man and machine, Monet’s lyrics invite listeners to realize the strength in their vulnerability, lest they lose their humanity to machinelike callousness. The single arrives alongside an official music video directed by Monet.

Monet says about “Prophecy Unbound”:
“’Prophecy Unbound’ will take you through a cinematic soundscape, to explore one’s inner truth and navigate the complexity of life’s infinite possibilities. Sometimes walking the path toward truth is difficult, requiring trust and courage to leave behind the familiar for the pursuit of a deeper, more meaningful existence. ‘Prophecy Unbound’ symbolizes this liberation from predetermined futures and the acceptance of one’s role in shaping destiny, even in a world filled with chaos and uncertainty. It’s a call to embrace the unknown and trust in the strength that we have within us.”
Check out the Official Music Video for “Prophecy Unbound” HERE

Prophecy kicks off in explosive fashion with opening track “Death Note”, a bombastic crash through apathetic walls encouraging listeners to break free from their technological isolation, and embrace connection with others over numb comfort alone. “Give It To Me (Mind Assassin)”, cranks up the intensity with an irresistible driving pulse propelled even further by an infectiously dancy chorus. A raucous fight for authenticity and self-realization, “Prophecy Unbound” careens through claustrophobically tight riffage, blossoming into a lush and cathartic belt-along chorus. The winding serpentine melodies of “Falling Light” explode with Monet’s venomous soaring vocals, dancing around ethereal synth textures, enveloping listeners in a sonic gothic cathedral. Released earlier this year, lead single “Rogue (Aim For The Kill)”, is a full throttle industrial rock track about perseverance in the face of seeming unbeatable adversity. “The Other Side of Fear” is an energized rager built on pulsating dance beats and features a standout guitar solo from composer and commander in shred Dave Bates. Prophecy takes a stand against indifference, encouraging listeners to go outside, cry, and embrace all the uncomfortable parts of life that make us human, before comfort driven apathy driven by addictive algorithms bring about our demise.

Co-produced with Mike Plotnikoff (Nita StraussApocalypticaDaughtryThree Days Grace), mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (AmarantheArch EnemyKatatoniaDelainEvergrey), and incorporated for the first time, 8-string guitars, Prophecy packs extreme firepower for EDGE OF PARADISE’s most intense voyage yet.
