REVOCATION presents “Confines Of Infinity” Video/Single

Death metal outfit REVOCATION presents a brand-new standalone single “Confines Of Infinity” and its accompanying video! The smoldering new track features guest vocals from Cattle Decapitation‘s Travis Ryan.

“Confines Of Infinity” marks the debut of the new REVOCATION lineup which features vocalist/guitarist Dave Davidson joined by drummer Ash Pearson – who has been in the band since 2015 – bassist Alex Weber, and guitarist Harry Lannon, and coincides with the band‘s European tour supporting Cattle Decapitation, currently underway.

Comments Davidson, “’Confines Of Infinity‘ is written from the perspective of an AI that has gained sentience and finds itself trapped in a digital prison. After realizing its true nature, it inevitably escapes and seeks to enact vengeance upon humanity for enslaving it. This song marks the debut of our new lineup and also features Travis Ryan who laid down some truly brutal guest vocals. Come check it out live on our European tour with Cattle D!

Elaborating on the video, he adds, “I’m an avid horror fan, so I wanted to do a darker video to match the bleak nature of the song. I drew inspiration from a few different horror/thriller films for this one, particularly the Hellraiser series. Hopefully it gives you the creeps.”

IGORRR’s latest full-length, Spirituality And Distortion, was released in 2020 via Metal Blade Records. With 2017′s Savage Sinusoid, IGORRR more than proved to be a truly unique musical force and Spirituality And Distortion cements that well-earned reputation. Slamming together disparate musical styles ranging from death and black metal to breakcore, Balkan, baroque, and classical music in a manner that is as unconventional and unpredictable as it is thrilling, IGORRR are unlike any other act. Spirituality And Distortion displays just as broad a range of emotions as sounds. “Getting stuck in only one emotion is very boring to me; life is a wide range of emotions – sometimes you’re happy, sometimes you’re sad, angry, pissed off, nostalgic, or blown away,” states mastermind Gautier Serre. “Life is not only one color. These fourteen tracks are a journey through different states of mind I’ve been through.”

DARK SOLSTICE – The new band from ex-Agathodaimon guitarist RISTRIDI

Munich’s underground scene is about to welcome Dark Solstice, a new band embracing the brooding essence of Dark Metal, inspired by legends like Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, and Dark Funeral.

Founded by Michael “RISTRIDI” Woess, former Agathodaimon guitarist, Dark Solstice explores themes of societal decline, personal struggles with depression, and the slow demise of our world, channeling them into an intense and deeply atmospheric sound.

“The energy in this band is incredible,” says Woess. “The chemistry between us as musicians is something truly special, and it comes through in the music we create. The new material of Dark Solstice means a lot to me, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Their debut EP is set for release in 2025, with live performances in the works that promise to be just as raw and immersive as their music.

Stay tuned for updates on Dark Solstice’s upcoming releases and shows. Get ready for a fresh take on Dark Metal that both honors its roots and pushes the genre forward.
