Deimos Rising

Deimos Rising is a two man metal project from the UK. We incorporate a range of metal styles and aim to push the scope of our music as far as we can with each new release; from Gothic Death Metal, Melo-death and Doom; to Hardcore Punk, Industrial and Black metal. Taking influences from many different bands, such as; Cradle of filth, Paradise Lost, Dark Funeral, Behemoth, Static X, Marilyn Manson, Placebo, Napalm Death, Metallica, Type O Negative, My Dying Bride and The Agony Scene.

Garry Dickinson, guitarist, said of the band’s sound, “I enjoy connecting music to powerful imagery, so by drawing inspiration from both the realms of fantasy and reality, we try and make surreal or ‘hyperreal’ snaps shots from our feelings and from the world around us. We are striving to create a feeling of inclusiveness and to connect with people through our dark, heavy, yet ambient art. I feel like that reflects at least some aspects of our musical ambitions.”

New EP – Shedding Skin Track Listing:
1. Strawman
2, The Impressionist
3, Devil’s Garden
