“I’m not gonna play your endless games of dark and angry words that always seem to flame” (Punching Bag – Andrew and Stephanie Hooker)
The Uneven aspires to bridge the fuzz and sludge of 70s hard rock with the guttural ferocity of 90s alternative metal, while never forgetting the primal roots of the blues. The Uneven is influenced by iconic groups like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden , and Nine Inch Nails . While many hard rock and metal bands focus on the doom and gloom, The Unevens’ message is to fight for truth, to self-empower, and to overcome adversity.
Guitarist and lead vocalist, Andrew Hooker , describes the debut single, Punching Bag as “A fire-raging riff and groove, that screams like a wild beast trying to escape a cage. The message of the song is about reaching a breaking point, and deciding to finally rage against opposition, while embracing your own power to set boundaries. It’s a reminder that finding beauty in imperfection is what gives us the will to take another step.”
The Uneven makes their musical debut May 15, 2020 with a self-directed and produced music video of their first single, “Punching Bag.” The video was directed by Michael Meadows and Andrew Hooker . Clay animation sculptures were created by Stephanie Hooker , and the video/animation was shot and edited by Michael Meadows. “ Punching Bag ” was recorded at The Cave Studios in Leipers Fork, TN. Patrick Thrasher (Rush, Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers..) recorded, mixed and produced the single. The Nashville based rockers will make their official debut on all streaming platforms, June 5, 2020.
Fabuliste are a progressive rock / metal band initially starting out as something of an instrumental trio between, Adriano Godhino (guitars) Kingsley Renehen (Bass) and Martin McKee (Drums). Based in Dublin, Ireland.
Having spent a few months building tracks, and forming a direction for the band, it was decided that the skills of a vocalist might be worth a shot. After a long and varied search, (and a small twist of fate) Dan Golding was etched into the Fabuliste ranks as the resident vocalist/lyricist.
We have since gone on to record and release two singles, with the third single ‘Left for dead’ due for release at the time of writing, and plan to release either a full album, or E.P for 2020. We have to date performed in various venues in Dublin , including a slot at one of the 2020 Bloodstock metal to the masses shows, with further live dates postponed for this year, which hopefully will go ahead in the near future. It is early days for Fabuliste , but we do hope to continue to carve a path for ourselves in some form within the European live festival, and touring scenes, to continue to record our own material, and to grow a further reaching fan-base to the people who love the music, that we ourselves would cherish to be a part of.
Live review in short: ‘ Next up is Fabuliste , who jumped into the showcase at very short notice. Tying together a mix of genres, Fabuliste proceed to launch their campaign to the now thronged venue, with front-man Dan Golding marching about the stage with buckets of confidence and a glint in his eye. Harvesting a sound that is woven with a mix of stoner, hard rock and progressive, Fabuliste generate an interesting sound and hold the crowd throughout with bangers like “Feed the War Machine” and “The Walls Remain“.
A band that is very much capable of surprising the listener with their unique and at times unpredictable sound. Watch out for them and check them out when you can ‘.

Al defines the music style of his project as a some sort of an old-school prog death metal with frequent shifts in rhythmic patterns and compositional structure of songs. The immortal outcast of heaven with an unpronounceable name (the last time somebody mentioned my real name, the Jews lost their country to the Romans, heheheh!) has been in one form or another for the past 65 million years, moving around the world mostly in the shadows and avoiding humanity like the plague. Can be summoned to appear (at one’s own peril) by a sacrifice of 13 virgin women and men but has the habit of leaving those who has seen his real face a slow, lingering death in return for their folly. Currently resides in Malaysia writing extreme music for a living but also receives requests to hex or mentally murder people in their sleep on the side. Not much else has been known about this nefarious creature in black, although banshees would stay silent if ever he’s around, the hounds of hell became meek as puppies and malevolent creatures of the night shut their doors for days and weeks in advance if ever they’d caught wind of his planned arrival! You can see him dancing under the blue moon but be wary as he can detect living souls and you’re lucky if you’d die intact if he finds you! There, enough said. Pray that he didn’t come after you tonight once you read this, heheheh!

” The Way Of Purity doesn’t show off with smart or cool band members. No names, no fancy photos, no effigy, no trendy musical influences and no nationality. No compromise, no way to talk or get to know us – we are NOTHING. We are a very real and solid message. Most militant bands in the past have reached a superior level of strength through their message and faith. The Way Of Purity is different. The message about God intended as nature (animals and the perfection of their creation) is our faith, but the power for The Way Of Purity is a high level of inspiration, self control, and correction of human errors through the inspiration of the animal perfection. We are the hand of God, we’re here to bring the animals message to the wrong doers in humanity. We are not an organisation, we are just the potential event in every animal’s life. The voices asked us to change things, giving us the chance of salvation by becoming the hand of God and finding the real way of purity. The human race will be brutally exterminated. Animals and Nature will rule the planet again with their integrity. The Anthropocentric lie has to come to an end and humans have to see the terrifying and piercing effigy of horror that they have inflicted on animals for ages. Humanity is ill, infected with the worst disease that is called Speciesism. “Schwarz Oder Rot” – “Black or Red” is about your choice. “Black”, the end, now…. It’s your choice. A quick death by your own hands, without suffering and by choosing the way to die. “Red” go ahead, keep on living and see the end of the world. You’ll go through suffering which humans will have to expect in less than 20 years. It’s time to chose… Black or Red! “Welcome to the precarious balance and the ancient code of The Way of Purity, that might hold the key to salvation… “

Born out of a desire to bring highly relatable, melodic hardcore back to where it started, Second Wind has had a take-no-prisoners approach to music since the beginning. While their hook- and riff-driven songwriting forms their sonic foundation, Second Wind’s mission goes far deeper than their catchy tunes. Lyrics in each song are carefully-crafted journeys of self-reflection, appreciation for the blessings of life, questions about painful problems, and struggles with interpersonal and intrapersonal issues.
Second Wind is ready to carry the torch into deeper transparency within this genre. Second Wind’s debut EP Vital releases on 6/19/20 through all major music streaming platforms and online retailers.

DANE:
I would like to thank Brad for starting this journey on his own and welcoming us all in with open arms. My fellow bandmates Jordan and Austin for their continued hard work and jumping in head first with us on this endeavor. All our collaborators for giving us a leg up on starting this off strong. My family who have supported me all these years in music and creative outlets. My lady Katy for her support and feedback especially in this new role as a vocalist. Finally, thanks to all of you listening, for your support, and for joining us on this crazy ride. We are all in this together.
AUSTIN:
I would like to thank my parents for being supportive of my dream, my friends for keeping me motivated, and all of my favorite bands for inspiring me to play.
JORDAN:
I would like to thank God for putting this in my path. I would also like to thank Brad and Dane for taking me in, Austin for his hard work. My family deserves more than a thank you for their love and support. Lastly, I want to thank everyone that I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with. They have all challenged and supported me in different ways and I appreciate every minute of it.
BRAD:
I’d first like to thank God, who has given me life itself, saved my life, and is the source of all that is good in this world. Second, I’d like to thank my wife Lucy–for not only being the band’s biggest fan, but remaining a huge source of support and reliable feedback for me and us when we need it.
Third, naturally, thank you to Dane, Austin, Jordan, Brandon, Scott, Aaron, Kevin, and Marcello for contributing to and making possible what is my (collectively) proudest musical achievement to date. This was absolutely a team effort and we could not have done it alone.
Fourth, thank you to my parents, Steve and Cindi, who provided a space for me and other bands to jam, make loud noises, and get ready for shows. You guys are the best parents a drummer (and musician) could ask for.
Thank you to any musician, professional, or other artist who has ever inspired and encouraged me to chase my music dreams. Art ABSOLUTELY helps make the world go ‘round and we are all better because of it. Thank you for those who have paved the path before us. Without you, music would not be a passion of mine.
A HUUUUGE shoutout to Carl Hitchborn–for being our mentor, leading the way into the (desperately needed) brand-new music industry, and for being the example that many other musicians and industry lifers need right now, and well into the future.
Thank you to Kyle Lemaire for being an incredible professional resource, teaching us a bunch of stuff we’d just be guessing on otherwise, and being blunt when necessary. Your material has helped us so much.
A big thanks to John Gold and his entire team for putting together incredible training courses and professional materials that help serious musicians make an impact in today’s ever-changing digital economy. Big, big thank you to Omari MC, Daimoon Media, and MLADE Productions for helping us get our music off the ground back in July 2019.
I’d also like to thank the musicians, engineers, mastering artists, promoters, and other industry professionals I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my 12+ years in music.
Last but never least, thank you for picking up a copy of our music. Without you, we would not be able to do this!
